WHEN WILL I GET CHARGED FOR MY UNLIMITED CAR WASH MEMBERSHIP?


Your credit card will be charged every 30 days from the day that you sign up.




HOW DO I CANCEL MY UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP?


You may cancel your membership in the Unlimited Wash program at any time. If you are interested in canceling your membership, you can do so by calling, visiting the store in, or by email. Please include the following information: First and last name on the account, your license plate number, and the last 4 numbers of the credit card on file. NOTE - your membership will be cancelled on the day you request it. If you wish to complete your month of washes, simply contact us 24 hours prior to renewal.




CAN I SIGN UP FOR THE UNLIMITED MEMBERSHIP ONLINE?


Yes, but you will need to visit the wash to complete your membership sign up. For Shark Club Members, an RFID decal must be adhered to your windshield and activated by a Great White crew member to complete the setup. This process takes just minutes!




DO YOU HAVE A FLEET BULK DISCOUNT PROGRAM?

I HAVE A BUG SHIELD OR BIKE RACK, ETC., IS IT SAFE?


We have many customers who have after-market products such as these that come through the wash regularly. Having said that, we cannot guarantee that yours will be OK. We only guarantee vehicles and parts that are factory installed so any damage that may occur within the tunnel for after-market items is the responsibility of the vehicle owner.




IS MY VEHICLE TOO TALL?


While each location may vary slightly, generally the height of your vehicle cannot exceed seven feet, two inches.




WHAT IF MY VEHICLE STILL HAS SOME WATER ON IT AFTER THE DRY CYCLE?


At Great White we have a 3-stage drying system at the end of the wash cycle to remove most of the water used to rinse the car in the car wash. There will, however, always be some amount of water left on the vehicle or in the truck bed. Because we use a Spot Free Rinse comprised of pure water from our Reverse Osmosis filtration system, any remaining water left on the vehicle will dry within minutes without leaving spots.




DO YOU TAKE CREDIT/DEBIT CARDS FOR PAYMENT?


Great White Car Wash accepts cash, Visa, Mastercard, debit card and Apple pay.. We do not accept personal cheques. However, as the machines in our self-serveare from the States, they do not accept debit. These pay stations accept coins, credit card, loyalty card, fleet card and Apple pay.




HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE TO GET AN AUTOMATIC CAR WASH?


Unlike car washes typically found at gas stations, Great White Car Wash uses a conveyor that keeps cars moving even if there are a few cars in line. The entire wash cycle lasts no longer than three and a half minutes and since there is no waiting for the car in front of you to finish, you will rarely spend more than five minutes from the time you pull in to when you are back on your way.




ARE YOU OPEN DURING THE EXTREME COLD IN THE WINTER?


Yes, winter is our busiest time of the year. However, if the temperature is consistently colder than -15 degrees throughout the day, we will close to avoid damage to the wash and prevent people getting stuck in their car when they get to their final destination.




IS IT SAFE TO WASH MY VEHICLE WHEN IT’S COLD OUTSIDE?


As we all know, water freezes at 0 degrees celsius. Any time the temperature falls below this you run the risk of things freezing. But, there are a few simple things you can do to help prevent freezing when it’s cold: First, spray lock de-icer in your locks after you exit the wash. Second, put your key in every lock and turn it back and forth a number of times. This helps to displace any water that might be present. Third, take the time to dry off your doorjambs to prevent them from freezing.




DOES DIRT HURT MY CAR?


Yes, it will weaken the paint as it acts like sandpaper, wearing it down over time. Dirt mixed with rain and pollutants will etch the paint off. Bird droppings and sap can ruin the paint if not removed in a timely manner. Paint protects your car so if it brakes down, it will not protect the vehicle. If you leave these cracks, scratches and chips, it exposes the body to moisture, which will lead to rust, and corrosion, and will spread. Only use specially designed detergents to clean & protect. Household detergents could damage the paint on your car.




WILL PUTTING WAX ON MY CAR HELP?


Yes, our Hot Wax is specially formulated for paint, steel & glass. Waxing creates a barrier between the paint and the environment. It defends against damage from sap, bird droppings, pollutants and insects, and extends the life of the paint on your car.




SHOULD I REMAIN IN MY VEHICLE WHILE IN THE TUNNEL?


Yes. For safety reasons, there must be a driver at the wheel. Great White uses extensive lighting and lots of glass, to create a comfortable, wide-open environment. We’ll give you easy to follow instructions, answer any questions you might have, and guide you through the process.




WHAT IF I SUBSCRIBE TO THE BASIC SHARK CLUB MEMBERSHIP PLAN AND WANT TO PURCHASE ADDITIONAL SERVICES OCCASIONALLY?


No problem at all. Members who purchase the Hammerhead or Tiger Shark Membership will have the opportunity to purchase additional services before proceeding to the wash tunnel entrance.




CAN I WASH ALL OF MY VEHICLES WITH A SINGLE MEMBERSHIP?


Each Shark Club member receives a unique Radio Frequency ID tag providing that vehicle with daily washes. The tag is not transferable. Should you wish to have daily washes for more than one vehicle, each would require its own membership and unique ID tag. Check out our family plan for Great savings on additional members!




CAN I SWITCH MY MEMBERSHIP TO A NEW VEHICLE?


Yes. Please visit the location where you activated your membership, and the manager will be able to tag your new vehicle. Please note there is a $10 charge for all new RFID tags.




CAN I CHANGE MY MEMBERSHIP TO A HIGHER OR LOWER PACKAGE?


Yes, simply contact us with the request within 24 hours of your membership renewal date to have it changed.




CAN THE AUTOMATIC TUNNEL WASH MY PICKUP TRUCK?


Almost certainly. Pickup beds must be empty before going through the wash for the safety of your vehicle, and those of other customers. Some side-mirrors are incompatible with our process, and certain types of modifications that employ oversized or off-road tires or radically raised suspensions may not be compatible but we will prep your vehicle before entering to remove excess dirt from these areas before you go through.




DOES THE CAR WASH SELF-SERVE BAYS HAVE A PRE-AUTHORIZATION CHARGE?


Yes, there is a $33.00 pre-authorization charge which will be refunded to your card within 72 hours.




DO YOU HAVE MEMBERSHIPS FOR THE SELF-SERVE BAYS?


We do not have memberships for the self-serve bays but fleet members receive a discount on their monthly bill.
